Emma is a Melbourne based costume maker, tailor and artist.

Inspired by art with function, Emma specialises in bespoke garments, emphasising precision and attention to detail. She delights in collaborating and producing works that serve as physically worn costume items as well as narrative tools.

Her Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) production credits include The Spook, 10 degrees, Earthquakes in London, Origami, Nuti, WOW and Mad Forest.

Outside of the VCA, Emma has worked on Snow and Rose with Spark Productions and has millinery experience with Kim Fletcher Millinery. In 2021 Emma completed an internship with The Australian Ballet Costume Department and in 2020 attended a mask-making masterclass run by world-renowned artist Ida Bagnus Anom in Ubud, Bali.

Sasha is a Naarm (Melbourne) based artist graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Design and Production) from the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) in 2021. Sasha has a high-octane enthusiasm for both making and design, with credits spanning film and television, music videos and live performance.

Notable projects include Supalonely (for BENEE), The Newsreader (ABC) and New Weather (VCA). In their time at VCA Sasha set designed devised work The World that Was and costume designed the theatre production of Cloud 9.

Sasha has built costumes and sets for a number of productions at VCA, with a particular passion and proficiency for scenic art, moulding and casting, metalworking and carpentry.

Stephanie is a creative, passionate costumier based in Melbourne, graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) with a BFA (Design and Production) specialising in costume construction.

Stephanie is passionate about creating unique, detailed costumes enabling the transformation between performer and character. She enjoys constantly developing her costume making skills and working on a variety of Productions.

Stephanie’s credits at VCA include: Senior Costumier for The Hello Girls, Here We Have It, Wax and Chapter Seven; Costume Assistant on Return to Normal (choreographed by Antony Hamilton) and several other VCA Dance productions of 2020; Costume Manager for The Cripple of Inishmaan (directed by Georgina Naidu) and Assistant Costume Manager and Dresser for On the Town (directed by Adam Mitchell). Outside of VCA, Stephanie has recently completed an internship with Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (directed by John Tiffany).

Tessa is an emerging costume designer and maker that has completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Design and Production) at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA).

Tessa utilises her background in technical costume construction to design unique and intriguing costume pieces that complement both artistic direction and the human form. During her time at the VCA she has held a multitude of roles, most notably Co-Set Designer for 10 degrees, Costume Assistant for Our House, and Costume Designer for Sweet Charity.

Tessa has a keen interest in sustainability and hopes to create thoughtful garments that employ recycling and ethical sourcing.

XaSha Chua-Huggins is set and costume designer/maker who intends to create escapist outlets. She is eager to provide opportunities for audiences to periodically observe and exist within alternate realities.
