Amelia is a costume and set designer who has recently completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Design and Production) at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA). At the VCA, Amelia has undertaken roles as Set and Costume Designer for Wax - Atlas / Gadhaban Kurrawan, Costume Designer for Baccarat, Associate Costume Designer for The Hello Girls and Assistant Costume Maker for On the Town and Disclosure.
After interning with Costume Designer Cappi Ireland and costume art finishing for the ABC series FIRES (2021), Amelia began working professionally as Costume Art Finisher on FIRES and Warner Bros series Love Me (2021).
Amelia has a passion for experimentation with aesthetics and blending historical and modern costume designs as well as installation design. Amelia strives to challenge the boundaries of traditional theatre with her interests in abstract and metaphorical design that resonates with modern audiences.
